The Riverside County Deputy Sheriff Relief Foundation is a 501(C)(3) non-profit charity created by the Riverside Sheriffs’ Association to assist law enforcement families facing life-changing crises such as sickness, injury, distress and death.
We wish we were never needed, but all too often we are. At the time of a deputy’s distress, we’re honored to be of help and comfort to them and their families.
Your participation in the Riverside County Deputy Sheriff Relief Foundation helps the families of Riverside County Sheriff ’s Deputies suffering through critical incidents. Support from residents and businesses will go toward supporting deputies in your city. It will encourage them, help them in times of need and dramatically improve morale.
Law enforcement families
Often when a deputy is killed in the line of duty it takes months if not years for benefit funds to find their families. The Riverside County Deputy Sheriff Relief Foundation is honored to be able to step in to offer assistance.
Medical emergencies
Sometimes an injured deputy needs financial assistance right away, or their benefits may not cover all of their medical bills.
Victim assistance
The Riverside County Deputy Sheriff Relief Foundation reaches outside of the law enforcement family too. To help citizens impacted by crime and disaster.
Funeral expenses
The Riverside County Deputy Sheriff Relief Foundation is there to take the burden of funeral hassles off of the widow/widower's shoulders.
Memorial travel expenses
Many families of slain deputies have trouble affording travel and accommodations to local, state and federal memorials. These annual events are valuable opportunities to honor fallen loved-ones and meet others with similar experiences.
Times of need
The Riverside County Deputy Sheriff Relief Foundation is there to assist local deputies, whatever their needs. Whether it's securing temporary lodging after a house fire or other emergencies RCDSRF is here to assist.
