CORONA, CA (January 7, 2018) – The 215 Football All-star Classic, produced the by 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Inland Valley Classic (IVC), unveiled the coaches for the 2nd Annual all-star game. The game is set to feature the top senior prep football players in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, who play at “small” schools and/or 8-man football programs.  The all-star event will take place Saturday, January 20th at Corona High School in Corona, CA at 5:00 p.m. PST.  The 215 Football All-star Classic will precede the 2nd Annual Riverside Sheriffs’ Association Classic, which kicks off at 7:30 p.m. PST.

Seth Padgett, Head Football Coach at Santa Rosa Academy High School will serve as Head Coach of the Riverside County All-star team.  Amahl Thomas, Head Football Coach at The Webb Schools will serve as Head Coach of the San Bernardino County All-stars team.

Game organizers expect this year’s game will be just as thrilling as last year’s game, which was won on the last play of the game, a 70-yard touchdown pass, lifting San Bernardino County over Riverside County, 20-19.  “We are committed to high school sports in the Inland Empire,” said Game Co-Coordinator, Brian Arrington.  “Regardless of what division these fine student-athletes compete within, they deserve to be honored as all-stars.”  Eddie Talbert, Jr. Game Co-Coordinator added, “What I am most proud of, is our ability to give back to Inland Empire youth and prep sports.  This year, we will be able to award a scholarship to one lucky student-athlete, and make a donation to a youth sports program at the game.”

The Inland Valley Classic is fully invested in the growth of youth sports in the Inland Empire.  This year the organization has partnered with the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Riverside Rams Youth Football.  During both all-star games, funds will be raised to support youth sports in Riverside County, as well as the Inland Valley Scholarship fund.  At the conclusion of the game a scholarship will be awarded to a lucky student-athlete.
Tickets start at $10 for Adults, $7 for Kids and Students (students must show school ID).
